Pool & outdoor areas
From a flaking pool shell to a pool you want to jump straight into — plus terraces, natural stone and privacy screens around it. The whole outdoor area from one contractor.
Pool & outdoor areas — done honestly
A pool on the Costa Blanca is quality of life — until the coating flakes off, tiles come loose or the pool loses water. Cases like these come my way regularly: I've completely renovated, waterproofed and re-tiled pools — from a flaking shell to the finished mosaic. Whether in Santa Pola, Guardamar or here in La Zenia: the problems are the same everywhere, and they can be solved.
And because a good-looking pool doesn't deserve shabby surroundings, I take care of everything around it too: travertine paving for terraces, natural stone cladding for steps and walls, pool copings, privacy screens and fences. You get the whole outdoor area from one contractor — the before/after examples below are all real.
For larger outdoor projects I travel the whole coast with my fully equipped camper — from Torrevieja right up to Denia I then work on site for several days at a time.

An honest diagnosis
I take a close look at your pool and tell you honestly what really needs doing. Not every pool needs a full refurbishment — sometimes far less is enough.
A clear quote
You get a clear quote with fair terms — waterproofing, tiling or coating, and if you wish, the terrace and pool surround as well.
Tidy workmanship
Old coverings off, subfloor prepared, waterproofing applied, then tiled or coated — proper craftsmanship, with photo updates for you.
Handover
Your pool is handed over ready to use, along with honest advice on looking after it so you can enjoy it for years to come.

Pool & outdoor areas: What owners often ask me
My pool is losing water or the coating is flaking off — does it all have to be redone?
Not necessarily. First we find out where the problem actually is: the waterproofing, individual tiled areas or the whole surface. I'll tell you honestly what needs doing — and what doesn't. I only recommend a full refurbishment when it's genuinely worth it.
Tiles, mosaic or a coating — which is better?
Both have their place. Mosaic and tiles last a long time and look high quality, while a coating is often the simpler solution. I will give you an honest opinion on what suits your pool, the way you use it and your budget — I won't sell you the most expensive option, but the right one.
Do you also do the terrace, natural stone and privacy screening around the pool?
Yes, gladly — in fact that's the most common case: pool and outdoor area together. Travertine terraces, natural stone steps, pool surrounds, fences and privacy screens. That way everything fits together in the end and you have one contact for the whole outdoor area.
Do you also refurbish pools in Santa Pola or Guardamar?
Yes — Santa Pola, Guardamar, Gran Alacant and the whole coast around Torrevieja are part of my core area. For larger projects I also travel further up, as far as Calpe, Moraira or Denia — with the camper I then stay right on site.
How long does a pool refurbishment take?
Honestly, that depends on the condition of the pool — which is why I don't quote a blanket figure I can't stick to later on. After the site visit you'll get a clear schedule from me, and I keep to it.
